Nomination
If you would like to nominate a company to receive the San Juan EDGE Award, please submit your nomination to SJEDS on or before July 30, 2010. In your nomination, explain how the company excels at meeting the purposes for which the award was created, the category(s) into which the company fits, and who to contact within the company in the event of an award. Address the nomination to the Executive Director of SJEDS.

Remember, to qualify as a nominee the company must show excellence in one of the following: Export Category: A business that contributes to the county's economic base by producing goods or services locally for export outside the region. Economic Wage Category: A business that contributes to the county's economic base by creating local jobs that pay above-average wages. Import Substitution Category: A business that contributes to the county's economic base by producing goods or services for local consumption that would otherwise be imported into the region. Leadership Category: A business that demonstrates local leadership through its performance in business ethics, customer service or corporate citizenship.
